An obscure online magazine called Esquire Philippines, which promotes the Western Woke ideology, recently published an outdated liberal fake news article and was subsequently exposed for its lack of awareness and gullibility.
The site’s Facebook post, captioned “Can’t say we’re surprised,” along with a link to its feature story titled And the Most Hated Billionaire in the Philippines Is… received surprising responses. One might assume that the main character of their supposedly intriguing hit piece would be a business tycoon in the Philippines. However, it turned out to be none other than US President Donald Trump, which reflects the site’s bizarre case of TDS or Trump Derangement Syndrome. To their surprise, Esquire’s post was met with disappointment, mockery, skepticism, and outright criticism.
To be fair, Esquire was sharing a post that was originally published in October 2022, making it no longer timely or surprising. However, since their story revolves around billionaire Donald Trump, it would only be fair for them to provide some context, especially considering that the world recently became aware of the political setup orchestrated by the Obama regime, FBI, and the entire US intelligence community against the anti-Woke and politically incorrect president.

Esquire was merely reporting on a so-called study conducted and published in September 2022 by a nearly unknown woke “independent financial broker” called BusinessFinancing.Co.Uk, which has only over 2,000 followers and no engagement on Twitter. The study aimed to determine which billionaires people across the globe admire and despise. The list of billionaires included Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Rupert Murdoch, Mark Zuckerberg, Warren Buffett, Larry Page, Larry Ellison, Sergey Brin, Steve Ballmer, Michael Bloomberg, Mark Cuban, Sheryl Sandberg, Donald Trump, and Richard Branson.
So, where did the data for this so-called study come from? It came from tweets! Yes, tweets! Seriously? Essentially, their methodology involved collecting “geotagged tweets” mentioning businessmen, entrepreneurs, athletes, or entertainers, sorting them by location, and using an AI program to determine the percentage of positive or negative tweets. This was done during a time when Twitter was under the control of both Woke liberals and the FBI, who were all Trump-haters. Quite ironic, isn’t it?
Although Elon Musk officially acquired the woke social media platform in October 2022, the implementation of new policies, including the firing of thousands of woke and self-entitled employees, the exposure of criminal bias among its executives, their collusion with the Democrats and intelligence community, and the release of Twitter files, took place weeks after the acquisition. For example, the first release of the Twitter Files came on December 2, 2022, when independent journalist and Democrat Matt Taibbi posted a lengthy Twitter thread reporting on the initial installment of the files, which he illustrated with images.
So why is timing and context crucial in exposing the bias and dishonesty of the so-called UK study and Esquire’s incredibly gullible post? It’s because of the following simple and commonsensical reasons:
- Prior to Elon Musk’s acquisition, Twitter 1.0 was essentially a digital North Korea for and by liberals.
- Millions of anti-Woke or contrarian accounts were banned for not adhering to Twitter’s woke ideology and propaganda.
- As already mentioned, Twitter 1.0 was infested with woke anti-Trump liberals, Democratic donors, and former and active FBI and CIA officials.
- Democrats and anti-Trump entities within the US government colluded with Twitter to censor speech and shut down Trump supporters and sympathizers.
- Twitter 1.0 served as a corrupt propaganda arm of the Democratic Party and the Deep State. Therefore, it’s not surprising that Esquire’s incredibly gullible fake news backfired.
For instance, one comment mocked Esquire for their gullibility and for spreading fake news, stating, “This is hilarious. The overwhelming response to this stupid fake news proves you’re promoting fake news .”
And the commenter didn’t mince words: “That liberal and woke UK think tank came up with their so-called study in September last year, or months prior to the official findings by Special Prosecutor John Durham that Hillary Clinton, the DNC, and the FBI paid a British ex-spy to use Russian sources against President Trump. All accusations, smears, and black propaganda against Trump were manufactured. The US political establishment, global fake news, Hollywood, and global institutions ganged up on Trump. The world’s most notorious pedophiles, the world’s greediest billionaires, and the most corrupt politicians hated Trump. Yet, the world undeniably experienced peace during his reign. The Abraham Accords even united Israel and some Arab countries, leading to the first historic flight from the UAE to Israel.”
“In fact, having TDS or Trump Derangement Syndrome should be a sign or proof that you’re an utterly moronic and gullible human being because you devoured all the fake news from 2016 to 2023 . And you claim that Epstein’s associate, Bill Gates, is the most loved? Remember, Gates has been using his billions since the pandemic hit to bribe global media, not only to promote vaccines for profits but also to make people love him. You probably don’t realize that you’ve been posting lots of fake news paid for by Gates.”
Oh yes! The UK study also mentions Elon Musk, which is not surprising at all, as well as Bill Gates, as two of the most loved billionaires on Earth. As the comment above mentioned, Bill Gates has been busy bribing and paying global liberal news outlets hundreds of millions, or even billions, during the pandemic.
Another reason why Esquire’s untimely propaganda hit piece failed and backfired is evident in most of the comments, which named the Villars, not Trump, as the most hated billionaire in the Philippines. This is probably because most of Trump’s supporters and sympathizers on Twitter have either been banned or have simply moved on from the woke platform.
A quick scan of Esquire’s post’s comment section reveals that 90% or more of netizens mentioned the Villars or the Villar family. See screenshots towards the end of this post.
Esquire’s utterly ignorant propaganda post indeed serves as a stark reminder of the dangers associated with gullible news outlets and the spread of fake news. It highlights how misinformation, fuelled by biased ideologies and a lack of critical thinking, can easily be disseminated to a wide audience. Good thing most Filipino netizens are smart!
In an era where social media platforms have become breeding grounds for misleading information, it is crucial for individuals to exercise discernment and verify the authenticity of news before accepting it as truth.
The Esquire article’s reliance on an outdated study from an obscure source and its failure to provide necessary context demonstrates the detrimental consequences of careless journalism. By presenting biased narratives without considering the evolving political landscape or acknowledging new revelations, the magazine not only misinforms its readers but also damages its own credibility.
This incident also underscores the importance of media literacy and fact-checking in today’s information-driven society. It is vital for individuals to develop critical thinking skills and to be aware of the potential biases that may exist within news sources. By actively seeking reliable and diverse perspectives, we can mitigate the risk of falling prey to fake news and ensure a more informed public discourse.
Ultimately, the proliferation of gullible news outlets and the spread of fake news pose significant threats to societal well-being. They contribute to the erosion of trust in journalism, sow division among communities, and hinder the democratic process. It is incumbent upon both media organizations and individuals to prioritize accuracy, objectivity, and responsible reporting to safeguard the integrity of information and promote a healthier information ecosystem.
As you can see here, Esquire’s comment section screams Villars!
