Explosive Footage and Insider Revelations: “Gustong Saktan ni Awra Yong Lalaki Dahil Hindi Napagbigyan”

Awra is seen here pushing a shirtless guy (Ravana) after the latter refused to take his pants off.

In a shocking twist, the truth behind the Awra Briguela bar brawl scandal is gradually coming to light, leaving the public both intrigued and bewildered. As video footage circulates across various social media platforms, it offers a glimpse into the escalating situation and reveals that there is more to this story than initially believed. Let’s delve into the contrasting versions of events presented by the involved parties and explore the substantial evidence at hand.

As we’ve mentioned in a previous blog, there are two sides of the Awra Briguela bar brawl scandal issue. Luckily, video footages are now circulating across all social media to give light to this escalating issue that has already activated LGBT groups which condemned the Makati police for police brutality and its chief for “homophobia”.

The popular narrative portrays popular TV personality McNeal “Awra” Briguela as the defender of her female friend, whom she and others claimed to be a victim of sexual harassment. Spreading like wildfire through the influence of social media personalities, this version quickly gained traction and support. However, we must consider the other version of events presented by the complainants, Mark Christian Ravana and Angelo Nino Gulmatico.

Mark Christian Ravana, accompanied by Angelo Nino Gulmatico, filed a complaint stating that Awra and his friends approached them at a bar, teasing Ravana to remove his shirt.

Now let’s take a look at the two versions of this case.

Ravana looks unamused after Awra pushed him…

One version claims that Mark Christian Ravana accused Briguela, along with several others, of instigating the confrontation after his friends allegedly attempted to molest the actor’s friends, identified as Zayla Nakajima, a content creator, and one Mary Joy. This is the version that supports Awra’s side of the story.

“After this harassment against me and my friend Mary Joy, my dear friend Awra confronted the guy very calmly after the party to defend me and our friend,” Nakajima said on a now-deleted Facebook post.

The other version tells a different story. In the police report, Ravana explained, “Awra and her friends came up to us and started making fun of me, pressuring me to take off my shirt. It was a provocation that led to the altercation.”

Ravana claimed that Briguela tried to take off his shirt, a request he refused.

Attempting to distance himself from Briguela, Ravana descended the stairs outside the bar. However, the actor allegedly followed him and tore off his shirt, subsequently assaulting him.

The situation worsened when Briguela’s friends joined him.

Awra getting more and more physical…

According to authorities, when Poblacion substation police arrived to control the situation, the actor became verbally abusive toward the officers, using profane language and expressing disregard for their authority, and shouting.

Video footages that appear to have been provided by then involved bar establishment show that the group of Awra and Ravana appear to know each other and that they were having fun.

A video showing scenes inside the bar at past 9 pm last Thursday and being narrated by an unnamed person claims no sexual harassment actually happened that night.

Bouncers trying to stop Awra from chasing Ravana. “Kung hindi siya pinigilan ng mga bouncers, laglag siya sa hagdan na yan,” bar insider narrates.

The narrator, who could be part of the bar, said the guy in gray, who could be Ravana, wanted to have a photo taken with the celebrity actor. “But Awra said they could only take the picture if the guy took off his pants.”

The narrator also explained some scenes in the video wherein Awra asked his friends to go downstairs so he could fulfill his wish to have the guy in gray take his pants off. One of Awra’s friends, the one wearing a black sando, is seen trying to convince him to go with them. But Awra decided to stay and the next scenes show Awra with the guy in gray.

The narrator said, “If you notice, they are in the same group. Awra closed the door and refused to let the group leave until the guy took off his pants. They were even joking around. But Awra took it seriously because that was his dare to the guy.”

Ravana, the guy in gray, is seen here running away and trying to leave the bar.

The unnamed narrator said the incident started when the guy in gray, instead of taking off his pants, took off his shirts. “You can see it in the footage. The guy already removed his clothes,” he added as he explains the footage.

“Now our bouncer, since removing clothes inside is not allowed, approached the guy,” the narrator said, indicating he’s either an employee of the establishment or part of it.

“Actually, Awra and the guy were okay. Awra just got upset because his demand was not met,” the narrator claimed.

One clearer and more closeup footage shows what appears to be a drunk Awra facing off against the guy in gray who, in turn, took off his shirts. After the guy took off his shirts, Awra can be seen pushing him. Another scene also shows Awra trying to pull the guy.

“When the guy put his shirt back on, he was about to leave. The problem is, Awra kept pulling him. Look at how Awra pulled him. They even fell down. Awra was furious. He wouldn’t let him leave until he took off his pants,” continued the narrator.

The following scenes show Awra getting more and more physical. “Awra was becoming aggressive. Our bouncer had to intervene,” he added.

Then the guy in gray is seen being asked by the bouncer to leave, which he did. However, as the guy and his friends left the bar, Awra continued to accost him and even tried to push the bar bouncers.

Another angle even shows the guy in gray (Ravana) running down the stairs while Awra is seen becoming more and more aggressive and tried to chase him. “He wanted to punch the guy because his demand was not fulfilled,” said the narrator.

Three bouncers even tried to restrain the celebrity. “The problem is, Awra had a lot of friends. He was with a group of 24 people. Our friends tried to hold him back, but he didn’t want to stop.”

As Awra and her friends are seen trying to chase the guy in gray, the narrator said, “Awra wanted to hit the guy.”

The last footage then shows Awra trying to chase Ravana outside the bar, which, according to the narrator, was at 1:45 am. “Awra couldn’t be stopped at that point. That’s when the chaos began.”

Regrettably, there is no additional footage that sheds light on the events that transpired outside the bar. The most viral videos depicting Awra physically fighting Ravana merely offer a glimpse of the broader narrative.

The public is now left grappling with a crucial question: Who truly initiated the fight? As the evidence continues to unfold and investigations progress, it is paramount that all perspectives are considered before passing judgment.

In this era of social media-driven narratives, the Awra Briguela bar brawl case serves as a poignant reminder of the complexities involved and the need to discern the complete truth. As the public eagerly awaits further revelations, it is essential to approach such incidents with caution, keeping in mind that the full story may still unfold.
