Remember the passionate and emotional self-proclaimed founder of a pro-parliamentary group who can’t be opposed or questioned in the Philippines? Well, he’s causing a stir in Singapore, where he worked as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) for years, attempting to gain attention by riding on a viral issue involving a Filipina influencer.
Yes, we’re referring to the aptly named Orion Perez Dumdum, whose recent live rant went viral in some parts of Singapore for all the wrong reasons, and is seen by many as a megalomaniac, insulting clout-chaser, and racist.
In his allegedly racist rant, Dumdum arrogantly mimicked the accents of many Singaporeans, labelling some as “st*pid idi0ts” for supposedly cyberbullying a Filipina named Zoey Gabriel, who is also based in the affluent city-state. Not only Singaporeans but also Filipino netizens called out the young TikToker for pretending to be poor. It’s important to note that some Filipinos also saw red flags and questioned Gabriel’s story.
One of the netizens in Singapore who pointed this out is Serene, who posted some proof that Gabriel is not actually poor “as she makes herself out to be.” Her post from three months ago, which includes screenshots of Gabriel’s father’s LinkedIn account, has garnered significant engagement, with over 1,900 likes, 284 shares, and 388 comments as of this posting. In her post, Serene stated, “It appears that the Charles and Keith Pinoy girl is not as poor as she makes herself out to be. Her dad probably earns more than most Singaporeans. How many of us can afford to homeschool our kids? Don’t be hoodwinked by her.”
This is where Orion Perez Dumdum entered the scene as Gabriel’s “white knight,” according to an influencer’s public forum. In that forum, Sammyboy.com, Perez Dumdum posted, “This is Serene Ho who has recently been inciting hatred against Zoe Gabriel (the CHARLES & KEITH girl) and her family.” He also claimed that Zoey’s detractors think her father “is rich.”
However, Serene Ho, who contacted The Daily Netizens to clarify the issue, did not claim that Zoey’s father is rich. Her post is clear, stating, “The Charles and Keith Pinoy girl is not as poor as she makes herself out to be.”
Orion Dumdum then posted a barrage of what appears to be defamatory and cyberbullying posts on his Facebook accounts, calling Serene Ho and some Singaporeans “stupid idiots!” On April 22, Orion posted two lengthy diatribes on Facebook, claiming that Serene Ho “was trying to incite hatred against Ms. Zoe Gabriel.” He also claimed that a small group of ragtag individuals in Singapore, who are anti-Singapore government and rabidly ANTI-FOREIGNER, had been relentlessly cyberbullying and doxxing him, while blatantly misrepresenting him as being anti-Singaporean to other Singaporeans.
As for Serene Ho, Perez Dumdum claimed that she “is an EXTREMELY TOXIC PERSON and has repeatedly cyberbullied not just me but hundreds of other people.” It seems Perez Dumdum is making the issue about him by claiming that some anti-foreigner Singaporeans have been cyberbullying him.
Serene Ho, on the other hand, posted a reply to Perez Dumdum’s online rant on April 24, stating that he “protests too much.”
She called attention to his inability to produce evidence of her cyberbullying him and his reluctance to address the issue of him using a fake Muslim name account to threaten her.
Ho stated in a Facebook Messenger conversation, “How can I bully someone I had zero interaction with?” She further added, “Stating my opinion is not cyberbullying.”

She also showed Perez Dumdum’s post from April 14, in which he posted her photo with what appears to be a defamatory caption: “This is Serene Ho who has recently been inciting hatred against Zoe Gabriel and her family. By the way, do not attack her physically.” Ms. Ho informed the Daily Netizens, “He posted my photo, so I had to reply. He is mad.”

Regarding Zoey Gabriel, Ho provided proof that she had initially supported the Filipina influencer. However, Ho’s opinion changed when she learned about Gabriel’s father’s income. Ms. Ho asserted her honesty, denied being racist, and expressed her frustration with Perez Dumdum’s portrayal of her.
“Here’s proof I was on her side. Till I read about her dad’s income. I don’t lie. I’m not not a racist. He made me look like one,” Ho said referring to Dumdum’s accusation that she’s anti-foreigner and that she incited Singaporeans against Ms Gabriel.
Ho’s post on April 20 includes screenshots of her previous posts defending Gabriel. In one post from January, she questioned why some people would be mean to “sh*t on a nice gift from her father.” She asked, “Who cares about the brand and the price tag?”
Meanwhile, Perez Dumdum continued to post what appears to be defamatory content, claiming to be a victim of cyberbullying and using profanities against certain Singaporeans. According to Serene Ho, Dumdum’s deleted live rant, in which he mimicked the accents of Singaporeans, angered many locals.

In his rant, Dumdum said the following: “You stupid idiot. I can say this in the video. Because you guys are so hateful, all I did was defend a person you were cyberbullying. You were cyber-bullying Zoey Gabriel, and then you hate me. You’re even trying to deport me, telling the ICA. You know the ICA is on my side because they like people like me who are good people, not like you harassing idiots. I tell you, Ho, people like you need to learn your lesson. You try to report me to my company. Actually, I already left the company. I’m no longer an employee at Philips. Then you call them, you stpid idit, huh! You think you know anything, Ho? I tell you, stupid idiots, you know nothing. I recently left the company. The HR manager actually called me to say, ‘Hey Orion, there’s a bunch of idiots who are trying to call me, and you need to be very careful because they sounded like rabid dogs foaming at the mouth.'”
Mr. Dumdum arrogantly claimed that no one is on the side of Serene Ho and others whom he accused of cyberbullying. He declared, “No one is on your side. Ask Madam Hoche, ask Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Ask the government. You think they’re on your side? Ask the police force. You think they’re on your side? They’re not on your side. They’re on the side of Zoey Gabriel, and they’re on my side. They’re on the side of Orion Perez Dumdum, an ordinary Filipino working in Singapore who happened to step in and defend someone who was being cyber-bullied.”
