If you’re Asian, particularly Filipino, there’s a high chance you may not have heard of the blockbuster yet controversial movie that has caused a stir in the West, particularly in the United States. The reason for this lack of awareness can be attributed to local media, which often relies on copy-pasting and purchasing news from global news agencies or wire services, many of which are either pro-American democrats or influenced by the Democrats and liberals in the US and the West.
So, what’s all the controversy about? Well, it turns out the movie is considered controversial because it tackles the issue of pedophilia and child trafficking, shedding light on a dark and disturbing subject. It’s intriguing to see what American democrats and liberals deem controversial these days.
Curiosity got the better of me, and I scoured every major news outlet and TV station in the Philippines—Inquirer, PhilStar, Rappler, GMA7, ABS-CBN, to name a few—and to my surprise, none of them posted a review or even mentioned this anti-pedophilia film. Furthermore, the movie has yet to be distributed in the country (or probably not), leaving local audiences unaware of its existence.
Let’s take a closer look at the film in question. “Sound of Freedom,” released in 2023, is an American action film directed and co-written by Alejandro Monteverde. It boasts a star-studded cast including Jim Caviezel, Mira Sorvino, and Bill Camp. Caviezel portrays Tim Ballard, a former government agent on a mission to rescue children from sex traffickers in Colombia.
Regarded by Western and American conservatives and independents as an important film due to its realistic theme, “Sound of Freedom” was released on July 4, 2023, by Angel Studios. Despite a budget of $14.5 million, the film has already grossed an impressive $85 million worldwide.
When we turn to popular film review site Rotten Tomatoes, we find that the film received a 73% score from professional reviewers, while the audience gave it a resounding 100% approval rating. This should tell you something.
However, it seems there’s a coordinated smear and black propaganda campaign against the movie, led by the liberal media in the US. This campaign aims to discredit a film viewed by conservatives and anyone not aligned with liberalism as highly important due to its realistic portrayal of a pressing issue.
The liberal media has shamelessly linked “Sound of Freedom” to QAnon, a go-to conspiracy theory they often exploit to tarnish individuals or ideas they want to undermine.

Video clips from Twitter users across the United States have exposed a coordinated attempt by theaters to sabotage the film. By sharing actual footage of the sabotage, ordinary Americans are shedding light on how the Pedophile Industrial Complex fights back, attempting to censor and suppress “Sound of Freedom.”

Theater employees have used various excuses, ranging from power outages to absurd claims, to justify the interruptions. This raises the question: Why would theaters sabotage a film that is already making money and attracting sold-out audiences in many places?
Daveo, another Twitter user, shared his experience, stating, “Movie theater in California. Sound of Freedom movie gets cancelled and people get refunds because ‘there’s an issue with the water pressure.'”
The efforts to suppress “Sound of Freedom” continue, but these incidents only serve to highlight the determination of ordinary Americans to expose the tactics employed by the Pedophile Industrial Complex and their allies in positions of power.
