Vivek Ramaswamy Emerges as the Most Pro-Trump Contender in GOP Debate, Destroys GOP Old Guard

In a recent GOP debate hosted by Fox News, Vivek Ramaswamy stood out as a candidate perfectly aligned with the current political climate. At just 38 years old, Ramaswamy brings a fresh perspective to the political arena, distinguishing himself from traditional politicians by highlighting his status as a self-described non-“SuperPAC puppet,” a term he used to refer to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

However, during the debate, Ramaswamy faced a seemingly baiting controversial question about climate change, and his response was anything but conventional. He boldly declared, “The climate-change agenda is a hoax,” prompting strong reactions from his fellow contenders and the audience.

Ramaswamy, an outspoken candidate born to immigrant parents, didn’t hold back: “Let us be honest as Republicans. I’m the only person on the stage who isn’t bought and paid for, so I can say this—the climate change agenda is a hoax.” His statements stirred both disproval and applause among the audience and his fellow candidates.

He continued, firmly defending his stance: “And we have to declare independence from it. And the reality is, the anti-carbon agenda is the wet blanket on our economy. And so the reality is, more people are dying of bad climate change policies than they are of actual climate change.”

The young entrepreneur’s arguments encountered a strong objection from the former governor of New Jersey and fellow contender Chris Christie, who called Ramaswamy “a guy who sounds like ChatGPT.”

Christie’s insulting comments about Ramaswamy could either be considered a lie or a dishonest exaggeration, since ChatGPT, and most of its users worldwide, know that it has a pro-climate change globalist agenda bias, but the anti-Trump politician wouldn’t care.

Christie went for the jugular with his racist remarks, as many observers claimed when he compared Ramaswamy to Barack Obama: “He stands up here, and the last person in one of these debates, Bret, who stood in the middle of the stage and said, ‘What’s a skinny guy with an odd last name doing up here?’ was Barack Obama,” adding, “and I’m afraid we’re dealing with the same type of amateur onstage tonight.”

Ramaswamy’s statements on climate change, labeled a “hoax” by some, have faced considerable scrutiny and backlash from American liberal media. In one of his past speeches shared on LinkedIn, he clarified his stance, framing the “hoax” as the “rise of the climate cult in America,” emphasizing that fossil fuels are vital for human prosperity.

Many conservative pundits believe that Ramaswamy came out on top in the first GOP primary debate, as he passionately defended and embraced Trump’s agenda. The Wall Street Journal noted that Ramaswamy’s strong alignment with Trump’s values propelled him into the spotlight.

Despite making a significant impression on Republican voters, recent polls indicate that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis performed the best, with 29% approval, while Ramaswamy came in second at 26%, according to a survey by The Washington Post, FiveThirtyEight, and Ipsos. Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley received 15%, Pence garnered 7%, and Christie and Senator Tim Scott each secured 4%.

Former President Trump, who opted out of the debate, praised Ramaswamy’s performance via his Truth Social platform. Trump’s post read, “This answer gave Vivek Ramaswamy a big WIN in the debate because of a thing called TRUTH. Thank you, Vivek.”

Rumors are circulating that Ramaswamy’s unwavering support for Trump could earn him a cabinet position should the former president return to the White House in 2025.

Apart from his skepticism about man-made climate change, Ramaswamy also voiced his opposition to the US proxy war in Ukraine, solidifying his position as the most genuine Trump supporter on the debate stage.

One of the most memorable moments of the debate occurred when Ramaswamy confronted Christie, known for his recent anti-Trump comments, stating, “Your claim that Donald Trump is motivated by vengeance and grievance would be a lot more credible if your entire campaign were not based on vengeance and grievance against one man.” Ramaswamy’s remarks resonated with the audience, drowning out Christie’s attempted response with resounding boos and jeers.
