Questioning Election Result, Fraud is Now a Crime in America

It’s Official: It’s now a crime to question election results and election fraud in the United States.

Before we get to the notorious and utterly bizarre indictment of former President Donald Trump and his aides and supporters in Georgia for simply questioning and trying to investigate a stolen election in 2020, we need to see how the Biden justice department responds to the question— is it now a crime to question election irregularities and fraud?

During a September 20th hearing in the U.S. Congress, Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland was asked that question point-blank, and he couldn’t provide a direct answer; instead, he attempted to evade it.

A Republican representative from Alabama, Barry Moore, had to repeatedly ask the question, simplifying it at least seven to eight times and rephrasing it at least three times.

It appeared that Garland, whether due to difficulty in hearing or understanding the question or feigning ignorance, had trouble providing a clear answer.

“Is it a crime for the US citizens to state, ‘we wanna ask about this election, we wanna question this election, we wanna look into this election.’ Is that a crime when citizens just question an election in America now?” Moore asked the visibly flustered AG.

“Again, I think you’re asking not a hypothetical but something specific about…” Garland said before he got cut off by Moore whose time was running out.

It was evident that Garland had clearly heard and understood the question. He appeared to either be intentionally trying to delay or was pretending to be dumb.

However, considering his legal background as a Harvard graduate and a member of the Harvard Law Review, it’s apparent that he was attempting to evade the question, especially given his awareness that the GOP representative’s time was running out.

“I think that’s general. I don’t think that’s specific,” said the GOP congressman. “Election has been questioned for decades past. Is that now a crime in America?”

Garland, on the other hand, seemed unperturbed by his unsuccessful attempt to feign confusion. Despite multiple attempts to simplify and clarify the question, he responded with, “Did you say to ask a question about an election?”

Here, it was evident that Garland was attempting a technical evasion strategy by intentionally rephrasing and distorting the GOP representative’s question. As a lawyer, he was well aware that merely asking a question about an election is not a crime, but it was clear that the frustrated Republican had a different inquiry in mind.

So for the third time, the question was simplified: “To question an election. To question the results.”

Garland took that chance to not be responsive by saying, “It’s not a crime to question an election.”

But the GOP congressman has run out and simply said: “To question election results in 2020. And there are a lot of people in America that do. And they question the weaponization of the government, attacking American citizens.”

“And you, sir, have an issue with the trustworthiness of the American people, and with Congress at this point,” the GOP representative added.

Recently former president and GOP frontrunner Trump said he consulted with various lawyers, but it was his decision to challenge the 2020 election results, according to Washington Times.

Trump, speaking Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” emphasized his acumen and leadership in challenging the results as he repeated claims the contest was “rigged against him.”

“It was my decision. But I listened to some people,” Mr. Trump said in a sit-down interview with Kristen Welker.

But the Democrats, especially those in Georgia, tried to misrepresent that as Trump trying to overturn the 2020 election results.

Trump faces indictments in federal court and Georgia accusing him of conspiring with others, including a series of lawyers, to “overturn” the 2020 election results in the lead-up to the violence at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. He has pleaded not guilty and denies the charges.

Tucker Carlson, in his latest speech in Michigan, echoed the concern that the Biden Administration and their allies in several states like Georgia are trying to criminalize questioning election results.

“And they’re sending people to prison for saying that the last election was rigged, which it was,” Carlson said to the applause of the ecstatic audience.

“How can you say the last election was rigged,” Carlson asked.

“Well, when the country’s largest law enforcement organization, the FBI, actively works on behalf of one political party. When its largest intelligence gathering agency, the CIA, does the same, it’s a little bit what’s happening in Michigan, when federal employees paid for by the tax dollars of everyone take an aggressive position on the side of one political party, you can’t have a fair election,” he added.

“Because you’re using public money to put your thumb on the scale on behalf of a partisan cause. It is totally immoral. And it’s not free and fair,” Tucker explained.
