When an internet service provider becomes a trending topic on social media platforms like X, formerly Twitter, it’s usually for all the wrong reasons.
Converge, a major telecommunications service provider, is currently in the spotlight, and it’s not for any positive achievements.
Subscribers of Converge, who have long complained about its frequent outages and poor service, have taken to social media to express their frustration as the ISP grapples with a major service disruption that has lasted for approximately 24 hours.

Reports from disgruntled netizens paint a grim picture of the situation.
According to posts on X dating back nearly 24 hours, a massive internet outage affected various regions, as indicated by the website Downdetector.ph.
Despite a recent statement from Converge Support claiming that they had “fully restored internet services in all affected areas of the service interruption experienced at around 10:30 am today, October 7,” many of its customers continue to report ongoing service issues.
Downdetector.ph’s data still shows that as of this posting, internet services in areas such as Angeles, Quezon City, San Pablo, and Cebu City remain severely impacted by the outage.
One X user from Libaong Bohol lamented, “We have had no internet connection for over two days. Not really good enough.”

Another netizen directly addressed Converge, stating, “@Converge_CSU, please fix the internet. I still have work to do.”
One frustrated user questioned, “We still have no internet, @Converge_CSU @ExperienceCNVRG. It’s been 3 days with a red LOS (Loss of Signal). What’s your plan? Will we be refunded, or just another thank you?”

Another netizen chimed in, “It’s almost 24 hours without a connection. It would be great if you could also reduce our monthly bill, right?”
Converge finds itself in hot water as subscribers endure this prolonged internet outage, sparking outrage and raising questions about the ISP’s ability to deliver consistent and reliable service.
The situation remains fluid as affected customers anxiously await a resolution to their connectivity woes.
