Lebanese-American former porn star Mia Khalifa recently ignited a firestorm of controversy with her comments regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict, drawing both outrage and criticism from social media users.
In a post on the X platform (formerly Twitter), Khalifa expressed support for the Hamas terrorists who launched surprise attacks against Israel. She wrote, “If you can look at the situation in Palestine and not be on the side of Palestinians, then you are on the wrong side of apartheid, and history will show that in time.”
However, Khalifa’s statement quickly garnered a wave of backlash from netizens who took issue with her comments. Some suggested she should be sent to Gaza for her views, while others questioned her stance given her former career in the adult entertainment industry.
One user responded by saying, “You’re a porn star, and all the rights and privileges that you have and enjoy in the West, you can’t have them in any theocratic Muslim country, particularly in Gaza, you stupid POS.”
Another verified user offered to fund her flight to the region, implying that Khalifa might face more challenges there than in the West.
“I’m willing to fund your flight to the region. I’m sure they’ll be kinder to you than to the Israeli female soldier,” replied verified user Breanna Morello.
Meanwhile, a different user criticized her for standing in solidarity with people who might not tolerate her line of work.
“Very kind of you to stand in solidarity with people who would behead you for your line of work lmfao,” said verified user Greg Price.
“LMAO! A degenerate Muslim porn star like Mia Khalifa would be instantly BEHEADED and pieces of her body paraded in Pakistan!” another netizen posted.
Khalifa’s controversial past includes a stint as a porn star before transitioning into music.
In 2015, she received death threats for a video in which she wore a hijab during explicit content.
Similarly, in 2018, she faced threats from ISIS and radical Islamists for the same stunt, acknowledging that her hijab-wearing act could lead to dire consequences.
Amid the recent Israel-Hamas conflict, Khalifa posted a photo of armed terrorists in a pickup truck on an Israeli street, aiming at police officers in a patrol vehicle.
She captioned the image as “this is a renaissance painting,” suggesting that the depiction of the terrorists at war resembled European Renaissance religious imagery.

In another post, Khalifa referred to the Hamas militants filming their acts as “freedom fighters” and urged them to record horizontally.
“Can someone please tell the freedom fighters in Palestine to flip their phones and film horizontal,” she posted, a statement that can be perceived as her clear endorsement of Hamas terrorists kidnapping and killing children and women.
Her comments further stirred controversy, particularly her justifications for the actions of Hamas terrorists against Israeli civilians.
