Pfizer Faces Public Backlash, $35.6 Million Lawsuit Amid Vaccine Safety Concerns, Admits Vax Causes Increased risks of myocarditis, Pericarditis

Pfizer, a pharmaceutical behemoth synonymous with COVID-19 vaccines, finds itself at the epicenter of controversy and trending discussions on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The global pharmaceutical giant is grappling with mounting public concerns and a significant lawsuit as a series of exposés and alarming news stories shed light on the safety of its mRNA COVID-19 vaccines.

Pfizer recently issued a news release reiterating that its mRNA COVID-19 vaccines come with “increased risks of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the lining outside the heart), particularly within the first week following vaccination.”

While this statement may have sounded an alarm for many, it is not a revelation, as Pfizer had previously acknowledged these risks. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and numerous studies had already affirmed that Pfizer’s vaccines could potentially lead to heart-related health issues, Reuters reported.

The CDC had earlier acknowledged that clinical trial data for the Novavax COVID-19 vaccine and post-authorization vaccine safety monitoring outside the United States indicated an elevated risk of myocarditis and pericarditis following vaccination with the Novavax shot.

However, despite Pfizer’s own admission and corroboration from studies, a number of politicians, health authorities, media personalities, and celebrities continued to assert with unwavering confidence that these vaccines were safe and highly effective.

This controversy has now culminated in a significant lawsuit filed by an Ontario man, Dan Hartman, who is seeking $35.6 million in damages from Pfizer over the tragic death of his son, Sean, following a COVID-19 vaccine, the Western Standard reported.

According to court filings by Sheikh Law lawyer Umar Sheikh, Sean Hartman was found deceased in his bedroom by his mother on the morning of September 27, 2021, a mere 33 days after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination.

The court filing states, “The Plaintiff pleads that Sean Hartman died as a result of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination.”

Dan Hartman’s pursuit of legal action comes after his denial of compensation from the Vaccine Injury Support Program in March, despite the heart-wrenching loss of his son.

Speaking about the ordeal, Dan remarked, “My son died 33 days after his first Pfizer vaccine, and he was a perfectly healthy boy with no underlying conditions.”

Sean had taken the vaccine to participate in his beloved sport of hockey. However, within days of the first dose, he exhibited troubling symptoms, including brown circles around his eyes, a rash on his face, and shoulder pain.

Dr. Ryan Cole, an American pathologist, played a crucial role in the unfolding events. In July, Dr. Cole conducted an examination of Sean’s tissues and discovered spike proteins in his adrenal glands. Dan explained, “The adrenal glands control your blood pressure, so if Sean’s blood pressure dropped, he would have died.”

Dan Hartman’s lawsuit against Pfizer seeks $35.6 million in damages, specialized damages to be determined before the trial, prejudgment and post-judgment interest, the costs of the proceeding (including applicable taxes), and additional relief as deemed appropriate by the court.

Umar Sheikh, the attorney representing Dan Hartman, asserted that Pfizer owed a duty of care to Sean Hartman, including accurate disclosure of all risks associated with the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination. He contended that Pfizer had breached the standard of care through its manufacturing, testing, sale, reporting, and administration of the vaccines.

Furthermore, Sheikh alleged that Pfizer had disregarded and misrepresented safety trial results, provided an incorrect characterization of efficacy data, downplayed adverse events among vaccinated individuals in the study, and failed to highlight all results and adverse events revealed in the studies. Additionally, Pfizer was accused of not halting vaccine administration in Canada despite known safety concerns.

Among the allegations, Dan Hartman also claimed that Pfizer had negligently misrepresented the safety of the vaccine, failing to disclose risks such as myocarditis and pericarditis, especially among individuals under 40 years old and adolescent males.

The suit cited inadequate testing and the company’s failure to complete post-market surveillance and share results with the Canadian government and the public.

Sheikh asserted that Pfizer had concealed significant risks associated with the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination from the public, healthcare providers, and regulatory authorities, including Health Canada.

“The Plaintiff pleads that the wrongful death of his son Sean Hartman was caused by the negligence of the Defendant,” Sheikh stated.
