Where Is Anna Delvey Now? Well, She’s Got Her Own Show!

The infamous Anna Sorokin, who became a household name through the Netflix series “Inventing Anna,” is once again making waves, not in the courtroom or jail but on the fashion runway and in the world of media.

While many had wondered about her whereabouts, the 32-year-old Russian fraudster, who posed as a German heiress, Anna Delvey, is under house arrest but has undergone a remarkable transformation, Evoke reported.

Just recently, Sorokin announced in a TV interview that she’s launching her own podcast show called ‘The Anna Delvey Show‘.

“I’m very excited. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and talk to them and kind of flip the side because I get to be the interviewer,” she said.

Some of her notable guests include Natasha Stagg, Jacob Shamsian, Emily Palmer, and Taylor Lorenz. Her interviews were all recorded in her New York apartment while she’s on house arrest.

On a rainy rooftop of an unassuming East Village apartment building during this year’s New York Fashion Week, Sorokin hosted a catwalk show, wearing glamorous designer clothes and a striking makeover, complete with killer heels, all while sporting an electronic ankle tag. This unconventional event captured the city’s attention, showcasing her ability to reinvent herself and maintain her trademark chutzpah.

“I definitely regret the choices I’ve made in the past,” Sorokin confessed during a phone interview from her one-bedroom apartment where she is confined for 24 hours a day, except for her weekly parole officer visits at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). “I’m trying to make the best of it, staying busy, but there’s no straightforward path towards an ending.”

Sorokin’s journey over the past year has been nothing short of extraordinary. Exactly one year ago, she was bailed for $10,000 from an ICE facility in Orange County, New York, where she had been held after being arrested for overstaying her visa. This came just a month after her release from a four-year sentence for multiple financial crimes.

While Sorokin expressed that she “wouldn’t want to glorify” her past actions, she has used her notoriety to launch various media endeavors. She has released a podcast called “The Anna Delvey Show,” discussing “preconceived notions of rule breakers” and challenging traditional ideas of right and wrong. In a surprising turn, she even performed vocals on the podcast’s title track with TikTok celebrity and rising country star Brooke Butler.

Sorokin has also ventured into the world of reality TV with “Delvey’s Dinner Club,” where she hosts intimate dinners with celebrities, moguls, and glitterati in her apartment, discussing her criminal past and her journey toward rehabilitation. She hopes to persuade high-profile figures like Madonna and Elon Musk to dine at what she described as “the hottest table in town.”

The former fake heiress is set to star in a new documentary series that picks up where “Inventing Anna” left off. Furthermore, she is planning an art show featuring her own creations, a collection of 12 collages and drawings titled “House Arrest,” with price tags reaching up to $20,000. These pieces are inspired by her experiences over the past year.

During her confinement, Sorokin has also been keeping a diary, which she aspires to publish. Her recent birthday party, “Club House Arrest,” featured a mocked-up New York Post cover with a picture of her stiletto-clad feet, one of which bore the ubiquitous electronic ankle tag. Invitations to the event required guests to sign nondisclosure agreements.

Sorokin’s latest endeavor, a rooftop fashion show during New York Fashion Week, was in collaboration with fashion PR veteran Kelly Cutrone. The two have formed their own fashion PR company, the OutLaw Agency. Despite her inability to leave her apartment for castings, Sorokin played a pivotal role in planning the event, assisting with the guest list, music, and choreography.

Kelly Cutrone believes in Sorokin’s potential, stating, “I think she could easily build a $100 million business, an events empire, a fashion brand, or real estate. She is super smart and intelligent. If she’d had better advice years ago, she could have stayed out of trouble, but she got in over her head because she was young and ambitious.”

Crisis PR expert Juda Engelmayer, who previously represented Sorokin, agrees that she has a bright future ahead. “She’s still a sought-after commodity. A figure of curiosity. She’s got a great future ahead of her if she’s given another chance,” he said.

However, not everyone is convinced of Sorokin’s transformation. Marc Kremers, the digital design studio founder whom Sorokin swindled out of over $20,000, expressed his frustration: “What she did, the lies she told, isn’t glamorous and sexy. She is not a good person. If she was decent, she would pay back the money she owes. I have an 11-year-old child to support.”

Despite the polarized opinions surrounding Anna Sorokin, her story continues to captivate the public’s interest, making her journey from fake heiress to the fashion runway a remarkable tale of reinvention and resilience.

Whether she is genuinely seeking redemption or exploiting her notoriety for personal gain remains open to interpretation. Nevertheless, she has certainly not faded into obscurity, and her future endeavors are expected to be closely followed.
