Jessi Virtudazo, the ‘bald’ man at the center of three separate road rage incidents that immediately went viral, recently broke his silence in an exclusive interview with Frontline on News5, sarcastically stating that he has no regrets.
Despite facing scrutiny and earning nicknames like “Vin Diesel”, “kalbo”, and “Mang Boy ng Fairview” from netizens, Virtudazo seemed unapologetic about his actions.
“No,” Virtudazo laughed sarcastically, as if puzzled, in response to a reporter. “Why would you ask me if I have regrets for that?”
“Alam mo? Whatever I did, I already did. You judge me based on the earth’s or this world’s judgment. But He will judge you by His standards,” he added, invoking God.
In the interview, Virtudazo shed light on the incidents that went viral, defending his actions by claiming that people tend to go amok when they reach their breaking point.
“Hindi naman ako magwa-waiting ng ganoon na walang dahilan eh,” he explained, addressing the viral videos depicting his confrontations.
The first incident occurred in Fairview in December, where Virtudazo engaged in a heated argument with the driver of a passenger van.
Subsequent incidents took place on January 4 and January 12, involving a truck and a private vehicle driver, respectively.
Virtudazo emphasized that he never intended to cause harm to others, asserting that the object he was seen holding in the videos was for self-defense.
He justified his actions, citing a previous instance where he was allegedly assaulted on the road.
However, Virtudazo’s viral videos made him the subject of online mockery and memes. When asked if he’s going to go after his online bashers, he responded, “I don’t.”
“Bahala sila sa buhay nila kasi bakit? Sinusunog na sila sa impiyerno dito pa lang. Kasi sino bang kasama ko? Siya lang kasama ko,” he added, pointing to the ceiling and referring to God.
Acknowledging that he faced challenges that fueled his temper, Virtudazo remained unapologetic, stating that he had no regrets about his actions.
Despite the controversy surrounding him, he maintained that his actions were a result of reaching a boiling point.
However, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has taken notice of Virtudazo’s actions, summoning him to explain his side of the story. L
LTO chief Asec. Vigor Mendoza II clarified that this is part of the due process to gather information before taking any action. The LTO identified two violations in the viral videos, including obstruction of traffic and improper person to operate a motor vehicle.
As the LTO investigates, Virtudazo faces the possibility of having his driver’s license canceled, underscoring the potential consequences of his actions on the road.
