World’s biggest social media figure MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, has fulfilled his commitment by sharing the $250,000 generated from his inaugural full video on X with fans.
The YouTube sensation, recognized for his extravagant giveaways, initially had reservations about posting on X for financial reasons.
Billionaire X and Tesla owner Elon Musk, who seems to be a close friend of Donaldson, had previously encouraged him to utilize X, but in December, the YouTuber made it clear that he had no intention of uploading on X.

However, circumstances have evidently evolved, as X owner Elon Musk introduced ad-revenue-sharing, enabling creators to earn a portion of the revenue generated by ads in their posts.
Last week, MrBeast uploaded his ‘$1 vs $100,000,000 Car!’ video, originally posted on YouTube in September.
Expressing his curiosity about X’s ad revenue potential, he stated, “I’m curious how much ad revenue a video on X would make, so I’m reuploading this to test it. Will share ad rev next week.”
On January 23, he disclosed the earnings from that video, amounting to $250,000 (£196,800).
Despite labeling it a ‘bit of a facade’ due to suspicions about advertisers buying ads on his video, he pledged to distribute $25,000 each to 10 individuals who reposted the tweet and followed him, with winners announced within 72 hours.
MrBeast honored his promise, announcing the 10 winners of the $25,000 prizes on Twitter: “Here are the winners of the $250,000 giveaway! They each will receive $25,000 :D.”
Among the fortunate winners is 25-year-old Filipino X user Xela Quimson (@xelaquimson1), who ecstatically exclaimed, “DI AKO MAKAPANIWALA!!!!!!” immediately after learning about her luck.
She further expressed, “THIS IS SO UNREAL!” and shared her joy on X by posting, “Madaming stray cats & dogs ang makaka kain!!!”
Several other winners shared their disbelief and gratitude on social media.
One winner, Deme (@Tsundeme_), initially expressed confusion and being taken aback before locking their profile.
Another winner, Lifestyle Spicer (@lifestylspicer), couldn’t believe her eyes, posting, “Someone wake me up. I can’t believe my eyes! This is unreal.”
Despite many not securing a win, congratulations poured in for those who did manage to snag a significant payday.
