In a recent appearance on the beloved noontime show ‘Eat Bulaga,’ Aga Muhlach, the veteran actor and former heartthrob of Philippine showbiz, brought a delightful twist to the stage by playfully attempting to match his bachelor son Andres with EB’s very own Ryzza Mea Dizon.
The seasoned actor, who graced the show to promote his new movie ‘Ikaw Pa Rin ang Pipiliin Ko,’ took the opportunity to meet his supposed future “daughter-in-law” Ryzza.
The playful banter began when Aga inquired about the whereabouts of Ryzza, who had reportedly expressed affectionate sentiments towards his son.
“Nasaan ba si Ryzza?” Aga asked, revealing, “Si Ryzza kasi panay ang sabi niya ‘daddy, daddy.’ Si Andres…” before co-host Ryan Agoncillo humorously interrupted with, “Father-in-law ang tawag niya sa ‘yo.”
“Dideretsuhin ko na. Si Andres, medyo minsan napapanaginipan ka na,” Aga playfully disclosed, taking on the role of a fatherly matchmaker.
“Wag kang ganyan paniwalain yang bata namin, huh!” Ryan jokingly cautioned, adding a humorous touch to the unfolding scenario.
“Kaya nga. Sana mainbetahan niyo si Andres. Para magkita naman sila ni Ryzza naman,” Aga explained, wearing a smile that hinted at his enjoyment of the matchmaking charade.
During the game segment ‘Peraphy,’ Ryzza was introduced on TV alongside Aga, her purported “future father-in-law.”
The young actress greeted Aga with enthusiasm, saying, “Hi dad! How are you? Nice to meet you dad. Please pick me po.”
When queried about her talent by Big Bossing Vic Sotto, Aga humorously coached Ryzza, saying, “Magmahal lang kamo.”
Ryzza, displaying her wit, eagerly exclaimed, “Please pick me as your daughter-in-law!” adding a playful touch by reminding Aga about the approaching Valentine’s Day.
The entertaining banter continued as co-host Alan K inquired about Andres’ height.
Aga responded, “Mga 6’2”.”
Ryzza, when asked about her height, playfully responded with her fellow dancers, including Atasha, Aga’s daughter, saying, “Two!”
Ryzza quipped, “Opposite attracts.”
Aga seized the moment to express gratitude to the show and fans for taking care of his daughter Atasha, who is also part of ‘Eat Bulaga.’
“Talagang sobra niyang mahal kayong lahat dito talaga. Kinakabahan parati yan pero excited siyang to come here every day,” Aga said appreciatively.
Big Boss Vic reassured Aga that they are indeed going to take care of his “daughters,” including Ryzza, sparking laughter among the hosts and audience.
“Oo nga pala sorry. Akala ko nawalan ako ng isang anak na babae. Nadagdagan pa pala!” Aga quipped, concluding the lighthearted exchange.
Aga and Charlene Gonzalez’s son, Andres has indeed grown into a certified heartthrob in the making.

The 22-year-old, now all grown up, is stepping into the limelight and is expected to follow in his father’s footsteps as a future bankable leading man.
Andres garnered attention last year when he represented his parents at an awards ceremony, catching the eyes of both the press and fans. With his towering presence and undeniable charm, Andres became a magnet for attention.
Charlene and Aga, who were in the United States at that time, sent their son to accept 6th The EDDYS award on Aga’s behalf.
Andres delivered a charming speech, poking fun at the adjustments needed due to his height while expressing gratitude.
“Ganito pala ‘yung feeling, to be Aga Muhlach!” Andres quipped, capturing the audience’s cheers, applause, and laughter.
Andres, with his undeniable charisma, proved that he’s a showbiz royalty in the making, even catching the interest of personal assistants of other celebrities and fellow artists, who eagerly sought pictures with him.
