In Ilocos Norte, a storm of controversy swirls as netizens unleash a barrage of accusations, claiming the police allegedly planted evidence against Jason Dumlao. Dumlao, a resident of Brgy. Nalasin, Solsona, found himself at the center of a drug buy-bust operation, initially celebrated as a success.

The 36-year-old suspect’s arrest has ignited fierce debate online.

Many voices are questioning the authenticity of the evidence presented, casting doubt on the legitimacy of the entire operation.

At the core of the dispute lies a sachet allegedly containing shabu, reportedly exchanged for 9,000 pesos in marked currency during an undercover transaction, Laoag City-based Aksyon Radyo reported.

As the story spreads like wildfire across social media platforms, netizens clamor for a thorough investigation into Dumlao’s arrest and the evidence against him.

In a poignant revelation, Dumlao disclosed during an interview that his youngest child is battling for life in an ICU in Laoag City.

“Puro utang po ako. Totoo pong nasa hospital ang anak ko. Puro utang po ado,” Dumlao lamented. He further challenged the police to subject him to a drug test to prove his innocence, vehemently denying any involvement in illegal activities.

Dumlao’s assertions are bolstered by claims that money was surreptitiously planted in his bag. “Nalagyan po ang bag ko ng pera,” he insisted.

However, amidst the outcry, acts of compassion emerge.

Some netizens reveal that generous souls extended financial assistance to Dumlao for his child’s medical expenses during the two-week ICU confinement.

Confirming Dumlao’s clean record, Kagawad Linburg Corpuz of Nalasin, Solsona, attested, “Wala naman po akong maisip, ma’am.”

As outrage intensifies, calls for action reverberate. Many urge Senator Raffy Tulfo’s intervention through his program “Tulfo In Action” to uncover the truth behind Dumlao’s predicament. “Ang hirap talagang mahirap lalo na sa Pinas. Talaga kakaasi ka,” remarked a netizen.

Allegations of evidence tampering fuel the fervor, with another netizen imploring, “Kinargaan dkan bro mkita jy bag n nkalukat.”
