It all began when Monterubio ordered a special cake for his cats from Judy Bakes, intending to celebrate the birthday of his beloved feline, Pearl.
However, a miscommunication with the bakery staff led to an unexpected twist in the tale.
“Cinonfirm ng baker na pang-cats lang yung cake, nakakain na ako ng isang slice” (The baker confirmed it was for cats only, and I ended up eating a slice), he shared, capturing the essence of his unintentional cake tasting.
Judy Bakes, the bakery responsible for the peculiar confection, clarified the exclusive nature of the cake in a chat message, stating, “’Yung pinaka-cake lang ang pwede, at tsaka ‘yung mga paws, mackerel ‘yun hehe” (Only the main cake is edible, along with the paws – those are mackerel).
