Tragedy struck on Monday in Barangay Malanday, Marikina, as a 73-year-old woman lost her life after reportedly being struck by an e-bike.

The fatal incident, captured by CCTV footage, unfolded as the woman was crossing the street in Barangay Malanday.

According to relatives, the victim suffered fractures to her left arm and parts of her waist as a result of the collision.

Authorities have arrested the e-bike driver in connection with the incident.
