Elon Musk and Donald Trump Discuss Policy and Censorship Amid Technical Disruptions

In a live broadcast disrupted by a massive DDoS attack, tech mogul Elon Musk and former President Donald Trump engaged in a candid conversation on various pressing issues.

The attack, which delayed the broadcast past its scheduled 8 PM slot, was described by Musk as a reflection of the strong opposition to Trump’s voice.

“This massive DDoS attack illustrates that there’s a lot of opposition to people just hearing what President Trump has to say,” Musk remarked.

Trump, who was praised by Musk for his response to an assassination attempt, reflected on how that event deepened his faith.

“Your actions after that assassination attempt were inspiring,” Musk told Trump. Trump noted that a famous immigration chart played a pivotal role in saving his life during that critical moment.

The conversation shifted to policy matters, with Trump criticizing Vice President Kamala Harris for perceived hypocrisy.

He accused Harris of appropriating his “no tax on tips” proposal while endorsing increased IRS scrutiny on gratuities.

“These people are FAKE,” Trump declared, accusing the administration of previously hiring 88,000 IRS agents to target waitresses and caddies over tips, only for Harris to adopt his policy when politically expedient.

Musk also expressed concern over America’s future if current border policies persist.

“I’m not sure we’ve got a country if open borders persist for another four years,” Musk warned.

Trump echoed these fears, predicting that a Harris presidency could lead to 50 to 60 million new immigrants entering the U.S. from around the world.

In a lighter moment, Trump humorously questioned President Joe Biden’s intelligence, stating, “His IQ might not even be on the board. There’s nothing on the board that goes this low.”

Musk proposed a dramatic overhaul of government spending, linking inflation to unchecked expenditures.

“Inflation comes from government overspending because the checks never bounce when it’s written by the government,” Musk explained.

He advocated for a “government efficiency commission” to trim unnecessary spending, noting that interest payments on the national debt now exceed the defense budget.

On the issue of censorship, Musk criticized European Commissioner Thierry Breton, who had warned about the responsibilities that come with a large audience.

Musk responded sharply, sharing a meme with a vulgar message directed at Breton.

He praised Trump for his commitment to free speech, noting, “You were attacked relentlessly every day, often very unfairly with false attacks. And you didn’t try to shut down the media. You didn’t try to inhibit their freedom of speech. And I think that says a lot.”
