Filipina Nurse Caught Shoplifting Over $300 Worth of Items in U.S. Store

A Filipina nurse has been caught on camera allegedly shoplifting more than $300 worth of merchandise from a store in the United States.

CCTV footage shows the woman casually browsing inside the store before discreetly concealing several items.

Store staff, who had been monitoring her movements, were reportedly aware of exactly what she took and the total cost of the stolen goods.

As she attempts to leave, staff and responding police officers intercept her at the store’s exit.

She is escorted to a back room for questioning, where she admits she can pay for the items in her possession.

Officers, however, inform her that it is too late, as she was caught red-handed.

Initially refusing to present identification, the woman continues to insist on paying for the goods.

During the interrogation, she reveals that she is a nurse and claims she did not intend to steal, saying she was in a rush.

She later discloses her identity as Marie Sumaya, an immigrant from the Philippines.

She is photographed for records, handcuffed, and taken to a police station for further investigation.

Authorities have yet to confirm whether charges have been filed against her.
