CCTV Footage Exposes Disturbing Incident, Netizens Rally for Accountability
A shocking incident captured by a CCTV camera has ignited widespread anger as tens of thousands of netizens rally in demand of justice for a 67-year-old retired professor who fell victim to alleged police brutality and rogue officers. The footage shows a harrowing encounter that has struck a chord with Filipinos, prompting fervent calls for accountability.
In a CCTV clip shared by Juan Caoile, eight men are seen forcing their way into the home of his 67-year-old mother, a retired professor. The distressing visuals depict the alleged raid on the property, where six of the men are purported to be members of the Imus Police Station. According to the video, they rummaged through items and are seen carrying away allegedly stolen possessions.
The video exposes brand new motorcycle tires and assorted items, their identities obscured by being bundled into sacks or bags. Additionally, the footage captures one man rifling through a motorcycle compartment, seizing belongings that remain unseen due to their concealment.

The video’s audio records Caoile’s mother shouting for help from her neighbors, questioning the intruders about their intentions. In a heated exchange, she is told, “wala kang kapitbahay!” by a man. Another man is heard saying, “tang-*na mo pap@tayin kita, itigil mo yang bunganga mo!”
Information obtained by the media suggests that a member of the Imus Police allegedly engaged in an altercation with Juan Caoile through a dummy Facebook account. The exchange allegedly centered around Caoile’s previous case related to prohibited substances. Caoile denies the police’s claim that this warranted a search of his home, pointing out that the case was dismissed due to insufficient evidence.
Caoile asserts that the alleged rogue officers looted their home, making off with valuables including jewelry, ATMs, gadgets, and motor vehicle documents. Shockingly, even mouthwash wasn’t spared from their pilferage.
The incident transpired on August 2 in ACM Homes, Barangay Alapan 1A, Imus, Cavite. The retired professor was reportedly arrested despite the absence of a search warrant. Allegations have emerged that drugs were supposedly found in her bag, leading to her detainment at the Imus Police Station under charges related to the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (R.A. 9165 Sections 5 and 11).
